Ben flew his white and purple Stoempers over to Tokyo for the inagural Tokyo Cyclcross. Huge prize money of $3000 was at stake, against a strong field of Tim Johnson, Christian Heule, Jamey Driscoll, and more. As soon as Ben saw the 400 meters of sandy beach, he had a good feeling about the day.

And sure enough, although having to fight back to a fast-starting Japanese Champion Takenouchi, Ben distanced the crowd on the beach section lap by lap, bringing home the big win. Just one of a few riders to win on multiple continents this year!!
