Ah, aluminum. It’s light, it’s stiff, it’s fast. And the Darrell is designed and built to be pure road racing awesomeness. There are a lot of misconceptions about alu – it’s harsh, stiff. But in the hands of the right builder, alu can be both compliant and still transfer power. It can sail over Flemish cobbles, or take the bunch sprint, or power up climbs both long and steep. In short, aluminum is rad. And in the hands of Todd, it becomes a sublime cycling machine. Tapered head tube with an ENVE fork. Triple butted 7005 aluminum main tubes, S-bend seat and chain stays. And gorgeous paint. We believe if you swing your leg over a made-in-Oregon Darrell you won’t want to ride any other bike.

STANDARD FEATURES
- All Stoemper ALU frames come with a tapered ENVE carbon fork, painted to match.
- Choose braze-on or 31.8mm clamp type Front Derailleur.
- Seat posts are always 27.2 mm
- Default BB is PF30, please let us know if you need a standard BB
- Tire clearance up to 27 mm no problem
